Navigation and functionality within all the RBQM dashboards are the same. From any dashboard you can drill down into the details, add Issues, and open other panels from Data Central which float on top of the RBQM dashboard.
Most items are color-coded, representing low, medium, or high risk based on the configuration of KRIs (Indicators), and QTLs (Tolerance Limits) for a study.
Use the breadcrumbs at the top of a window to:
- Return to the associated overview dashboard. The name of the overview dashboard is a hyperlink.
View the KRI dashboard by Sites or Countries by clicking the down arrow and selecting Sites or Countries - Use the drop-down next to the name of the dashboard you are viewing to select a different dashboard.
Bar Charts
Displays the number of issues per KRI. The x-axis displays numbers and the y-axis displays the defined KRIs for a study. The different colors are based on the status of issues. Hover over a color on a bar and a tooltip displays the number of issues. Click anywhere on a bar and the Issues listing opens filtered by Type, displaying only RBQM issues. This listing cannot be docked.
Box and Whisker Charts
Displays score distribution. The box and whisker chart on the KRIs Overview dashboard displays the defined KRIs for a study. The KRIs are displayed on the x-axis. Each box is representative of a KRI and the distribution within them. The blue boxes represent the upper and lower IQR (inter quartile range) of sites. The whisker lines represent the relative min and relative max (before outliers).
Box and whisker charts are also on the individual KRI dashboards, and depending on which scoring is used, the chart will display the distribution differently.
Use the legend to identify markers within the chart.
Hover over any of the markers and a tooltip displays the details. Click on a box within the chart of the KRI Overview dashboard and the KRI details by sites dashboard opens.
Tip: Hover over an item in the legend and all associated markers in the chart highlight.
Cards
Cards display the site or country score with a color-coded gauge at the top, a hyperlinked list of KRIs, and a link to more site or country details. Within the list of KRIs, a triangle displayed next to the name of the KRI indicates it is marked as critical. Cards are available by clicking on a country or site marker within a map, and from some listings. For example, clicking on a country in a Map opens a card with that country's details. Details on the card are different depending on whether you are viewing a country or site card. Clicking the link VIEW SITE / COUNTRY DETAILS opens the site or country specific dashboard.
Pin Cards
Cards opened from a map can be pinned to the dashboard for the user to compare multiple site or country KRIs. To pin multiple site or country cards to the dashboard, click the pin icon at the top right.
Click the x to close the card.
Gauges
Display risk associated to QTLs, Sites, or Countries. They are color-coded and have an associated label. It will also display if there is a change or no change from the previous RBQM run. The name of the gauge is specific to the QTL or score and is displayed at the right of the gauge.
Note: QTL gauges are hyperlinked to the specific QTL dashboard.

Line Graphs
Line graphs for QTLs and KRIs display all previous and current scores. The functionality for both is the same, however, the markers and thresholds may be different.
Hover over a marker to view scores and run dates.
To focus on a certain area of the chart, click and drag your mouse of that area. Click the Zoom Out or Show all data icon to reset the chart.
Use the Create Issue icon to create a study level issue.
If supporting data was defined for a QTL or KRI, the button Supporting Data will display next to the icons above the visualization. Click the Supporting Data button and select a domain from the drop-down. The panel will open and float on top of the dashboard.
The KRI line graph below has lines representing the defined thresholds, as well as text indicating defined thresholds (e.g., High, Medium). The solid color-coded lines with markers represent the scores for each run date by site / country.
In this graph you can click on a site or country in the legend to view that one line by itself. To return to view all sites / countries, click the Show all sites / countries icon. The legend displays by default, to hide the legend click the Hide Legend icon.
The QTL line graph below has color-coded dashed lines and shaded areas to display defined thresholds. If thresholds are configured as dynamic, the threshold lines and shaded areas will reflect any changes made to the threshold. The solid blue line with markers represents the score for each run date.
Listings
Listings are found on most dashboards and provide the details associated with items on the dashboard you are viewing. Use the scrollbars when available to see all rows.
Icons vary based on the listing:
- Next / Previous Page: click to move through the list
- Export: click to export the Excel listing to your computer (available for the individual QTL and KRI dashboards)
- Create Issue: click to create an issue.
- Click on a column heading to sort it in ascending or descending order, or to filter the column. Right-click on a column heading to select or clear sorting, or fix a column to the left or right.
Example below displaying the color-coded gauge displaying risk level.
Maps
Displays the risk level at country and site levels. For countries used in a study the map is color-coded (red, yellow, green) based on the overall risk. Site markers are located on the map by default, and you can hover over them to view a tooltip displaying the country or site and its score.
Click on a country or site marker to open the country or site card. Cards opened from a map can be pinned to the dashboard.
Use the icons at the top to:
- Show / Hide Sites: click to show or hide the site markers
- Show World: click to view the entire world map
- Continents: click to open a drop-down with the list of continents, click a continent and the map zooms to that area
- Create Issue: click to create an issue
- Use your mouse wheel to zoom in or out
Pie Charts
Pie charts are color-coded (red, yellow, green), and used as an easy to view overall risk assessment. In the pie chart shown here you can see that each colored wedge has a flag indicating the number of sites at each risk level. Click on a colored wedge and a drop-down list displays where you can select hyperlinked items to drill down to further details.
