Group CDA and CTOA Apps by Compound, TA, or Program

Analytics CDA and CTOA apps can be grouped by Compound, Therapeutic Area, or Program at the URL level. Grouped apps include only studies configured for the selected grouping. Limiting the number of studies in a grouped application reduces load time and improves performance.

During study configuration, the Compound, Therapeutic Area, and Program fields must be completed as appropriate. Ensuring these fields are populated allows studies to be included in the correct grouped applications. For example, when applications are grouped by Therapeutic Area, each CDA and CTOA application includes only studies configured for that Therapeutic Area.

Note: If apps are grouped by a specific category and a study does not have the corresponding field completed during study configuration, that study appears in an ungrouped app. Ungrouped apps are named Clinical Data Analytics and Clinical Trial Operational Analytics.

Configure a URL for Grouped Apps

  1. Click the 9-dot icon to open the Platform Menu.
  2. Select Customize Analytics under Platform Configuration
  3. Click the Configure icon in the master header. The Configure Analytics Settings window opens.
    Customize Analytics
  4. Click the Analytics Study Group drop-down.
    Configure Analytics Settings
  5. Select how CDA and CTOA apps should be grouped: Compound, Therapeutic Area, Program, or --Select--.

Note: Select --Select-- to configure apps ungrouped.

  6. Click Save.

Important: If a message displays after clicking Save, indicating that some studies are not configured for the selected grouping, the message includes a count of affected studies. Select No, complete the Compound, Therapeutic Area, and Program fields in study configuration for those studies, and then configure grouped apps again.
    Save Group
