Use the AE Comparison Sheet to Compare AEs in Analytics

Note: The by variable buttons were updated in 23.3 with new additions and minor name changes, video shows how they appeared in 23.2 and prior. Functionality is the same.

Instructions

  1. Open the CDA Adverse Event Comparison sheet.
  2. There are two visualizations for the purpose of AE comparison, each with their own set of filters.

    Tip: The By Variable buttons apply to both visualizations, and can be used to update how the data in both visualizations is presented.

To compare AEs between two Studies:

  1. Select a different study from each of the Study filters.
  2. Click the green checkmark to confirm each selection.
  3. The visualizations update to show differences between the two studies.

To compare AEs between two Sites:

  1. Select the same study from each of the Study filters.
  2. Click the green checkmark to confirm each selection.
    Note: The visualizations should be the same now.
  3. Select a different site from each of the Site filters.
  4. Click the green checkmark to confirm each selection.
  5. The visualizations update to show differences between the two sites.

To compare AEs between two Cohorts or Group Assignments:

  1. Select the same study from each of the Study filters.
  2. Click the green checkmark to confirm each selection.
    Note: The visualizations should be the same now.
  3. Select a different group assignment from each of the Group Assignment filters.
  4. Click the green checkmark to confirm each selection.
  5. The visualizations update to show differences between the two cohorts.
