Instructions
- From the elluminate Studies page, select a Study to open the Study Details page.
- Select Snapshots from the Details drop-down.
- Any snapshots previously created for this study will be listed here.
- To create a new snapshot, select the plus sign at the top right of the window.
- When the Create Study Snapshot windows open, by default, the name field shows the study name and today’s date, but you can change this to a name that makes sense to you.
Important: If the snapshot name already exists, you will get an error message letting you know it’s a duplicate name.
Tip: Optionally, you can give your snapshot a description to provide more information on its purpose, which can be a helpful reminder for you and any other users who also need to access snapshots.
- To begin the Snapshot capture process, select Save.
Important: If you receive an error message saying “The study data is being imported or saved. A Snapshot cannot be created at this time,” this is an indication that a data import is in progress. You must wait for the active import to finish before you can create a successful snapshot.
- If the snapshot progresses, it will be included in the study snapshot list, and while it is processing, it will display as Pending. Once it completes, the status will change to either Successful or Failed.
Important: If it fails, you’ll want to contact support@eclinicalsol.com so our team can investigate the issue.
- If it’s successful, you have a few options:
- Use Mapper to apply additional transformations to derive analysis datasets or other outputs.
- Use Exporter to export the data out as an excel, csv, SAS, SAS XPORT, or delimited file for analysis.
- Analyze the study snapshot within Analytics:
- Select Analytics from the Global Menu Bar (or the Platform Menu for versions 22.3 or later).
- Locate the Clinical Data Analytics Study Snapshot app and select the Home button.
- Select the Snapshot Name filter, select your snapshot or snapshots from the drop-down list, and then select the green checkbox to confirm your selection. Your snapshot filter will appear in the selections bar.
Tip: We recommend you select it and lock that selection by selecting the lock icon to ensure you’re always looking at the data for that snapshot.
- Now you can navigate to any of the sheets within the app to perform your interim analysis.
