Important: The Issue Notification Task should be created at the first study configuration by the user with the necessary privileges. The Task needs to be created once, applies to the entire URL and all users who create issue notifications in batch.
Instructions
- To begin select Tasks under Platform Administration within the Platform menu.
- When Tasks opens, a list of all tasks created within your organization displays.
- To create the Issue Notifications Task, click the plus icon from the header menu.
- When the New Task creation window opens, from the Task tab:
- Name your task.
- Give the task an optional description.
- Leave it Active (by default).
- (Optional) Check to cancel stalled action(s) after a set number of hours. This ensures recurring tasks do not get stuck behind a stalled task. [Available in 24.1+]
- To define the frequency with which issue notifications are sent, click the Schedules tab:
- Choose the start date and time (first day you want issue notifications sent).
- Check Repeat and choose options for frequency of issue notification emails (e.g. Every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
- End date is not necessary.
- Click the Actions tab.
- Click the add action drop-down button.
- Select Issue Notifications from the action drop-down.
- Leave default settings and click okay button.
- To finish setting up the Issue Notification task, click the Save button.
