Your elluminate Profile provides access to user information, password management, preference settings, and assigned study privileges.

  1. Click the 9-dot icon to open the Platform Menu.
  2. Click the My Profile link under your name. The My elluminate Profile window opens.

Change Your elluminate Password

The default frequency for changing your elluminate password is set to 90 days. This may vary depending on your company’s policy. When your password expires, you will be notified upon logging in. You can also change your password at any time using the Change link in My Profile.

Note: This does not apply when logging in via Active Directory.

In the My Information section:

  1. Next to Password, click Change. The Change Password window opens.
  2. In Current Password, enter the password used to sign in to elluminate.
  3. In New Password, enter the new password.
  4. In Confirm Password, re-enter the new password.
  5. Click Save.

Note: If access to the Reporting Database is available, your Reporting DB Username displays. The Reporting DB password can be updated in the Reporting DB Credentials section. Refer to the Change your Reporting Database Password section below.

Update Your Preferences

In the My Preferences section, display settings can be configured. After making changes, click Save to apply updates.

Advanced View

Select Advanced View to display the Download XML column in Data Quality on the Validations view. When Advanced View is not selected, the Download XML column does not display.

Home Page

Click the drop-down and select the preferred landing page displayed upon sign-in to elluminate.

Display Domains and Variables

Select either the Names or Labels radio button to identify how the domains and variables will display. Below are some examples of how the domains and variables may look when you have Names versus Labels selected.

View Your Privileges and Studies

In the My Privileges and Studies section, assigned studies and privileges display. Only assigned privileges appear.

Click the arrows to expand or collapse items. For example, expand Analytics, then expand Studies to view studies with Analytics access.

Tip: Check this section to confirm your assigned privileges. If additional access is required, submit a request to the elluminate administrator. 

View your API Credentials

If an API key and secret have been generated, they display in this section.

Change your Reporting Database Password

During your first login to the Reporting Database, you will need to create a password within your User Profile. Passwords can also be changed as needed in your User Profile. 

Note: Creating and editing the Reporting Database password is only applicable for eCS managed instances of AWS RDS or Snowflake systems. This option is not be visible for configurations using externally managed databases.

  1. Access your User Profile.

  2. In the Reporting DB Credentials section, Click Change next to Reporting DB Password.

  3. Enter the new password in New Password.
  4. Re-enter the new password in Confirm Password.
  5. Click Save to close the Change Reporting DB Password window.
  6. Click Save to close the My Profile window.
