Configure Automatic Highlighting of Key Data in Data Central

Important: Data Central privilege allows users to turn on and off highlighting. Study Configure privilege required to create and manage highlighting.

Instructions

  1. From the listing you want to add highlights to, click the settings icon.
  2. Click the Highlights tab.
  3. To turn on/off highlights, click the toggle icon next to each type and click Save. Or Continue to learn how to configure highlights.
  4. To highlight a column header, under Field Emphasis, select the color next to the corresponding field.
  5. To highlight a row or cell, under Domain Highlight Conditions, create a conditional statement that will highlight that row if the operation is true:
    1. Select the field you want to target.
    2. Choose an operator.
    3. Choose the value.
    4. Choose type row or cell.
    5. Choose a color.
      Note: There is a maximum of 10 conditions per listing.
  6. To make sure the Domain Highlight Conditions display properly, re-order by priority, with highlights that should take priority over the others listed top to bottom.
  7. Click Save.
