Highlights
Efficient workflow happens best when you make the most out of the technology you are using. Tune in to eClinical’s Insider Training series to ensure that your team is optimizing elluminate to get the most out of your data.
In our most recent training session – Customizing User Views in Data Central – Lisa Clough reviewed how of Data Central users can adjust the Data Central dashboard so that you can look at the data in a way that's most useful for you.
Hiding columns in a listing
View only the data you need to see in the moment by hiding columns that are not relevant to you as you are working. This feature is user-specific, study-specific, and listing-specific. It will only affect your view, and allows for a tidier workspace, with only the important columns visible.
Fixing columns in a listing
Scrolling through your columns, but want to keep some locked in for reference as you work? Utilize the fixed column feature to lock columns with information you want to follow you as you go. This feature allows you to fix as many columns as you would like while scrolling and is user and listing specific.
Sorting multiple columns
Sort your columns in a way that makes the most sense for your needs, while you’re working in a listing. This feature will hold for your current session, allowing you to organize your data in a way that makes sense for you.
Adjusting highlighting
Newly available with version 23.2, this feature requires the Study Configure privilege to edit, but shows up for all users. Highlight entire rows, single cells, or column headings. Any level of privilege has the option to turn off highlighting with a toggle in settings.
Creating multiple sheets in a Workspace
Better organize your workspace by creating multiple sheets that you can switch between while viewing data. Open different listings in different tabs so that you can keep track of all your data in one workspace. This feature allows you to save workspaces and create filters that carry over from sheet to sheet.
