Advanced Filters

Released in 23.1, advanced filters allow you to create a filter independent of column and row selections, allows more complex filters to be created, and allows the use of tokens.

Advanced filters, which can be set to show up for your own personal use, or for other users, give users a more complex and specified way of applying filters. It also allows users to create a filter that can be based on multiple statements at the same time.

The new advanced filters also allow for the creation of tokens, so that rather than having to specify an exact piece of information, it can reference data in the data sets based upon an SQL query.

Data Cuts

While the advanced filter filters the records themselves to show the current data, the data cut functionality uses the advanced filter as a base and builds upon it.

Data cuts not only filters your data but will also filter or update the information that is in the issues and queries. This allows users to potentially see the status of a review process at a given time, and show the details about things like open queries, outstanding records, etc.
