If Data Central times out on you due to inactivity, having to reset all the filters you were using can be frustrating. We recommend you save frequently used filters as a Filter Set in Data Central to quickly re-apply them.

A saved Filter Set can include Global, Panel, and Visualization filters. When creating a column filter, Filter Rows or Filter Subjects is selected to apply a Panel or Global filter respectively. If you select a saved filter set which includes filters for a closed panel, the filter will be applied when you open the panel (for example: filter includes AE_TERM, but AE panel is closed, when you open the AE panel, the filter will be applied to the newly opened panel).

Filters can be made public across studies and user groups to foster collaborative data review workflows. You can read more about this functionality and additional information about filters in the Help article called "Use Filters in Data Central." I hope you find that using a Filter Set makes your work more efficient in elluminate!

We recently received a question about how to generate a requery! Steps for taking action on queries, such as a requery action, can be found in this Help Center article: Create and Action Queries in Data Central (24.2)

The Requery action can only be taken on queries with the status of closed, cancelled, or answered. The requery action will be greyed out for open queries.

    1. When viewing the Queries listing in Data Central, the listing will automatically be filtered to open queries. Adjust these filters to see answered, closed, or cancelled queries.
    2. In the listing, select the checkbox next to one or more queries you want to requery.
    3. Click the action button from the toolbar, and select requery.
    4. Enter the Query Text and Category, and click Submit.
