Administration Errors

  • The selection controls are suppressed when elluminate cannot uniquely identify records, typically because the domain’s ETL keys are missing, misconfigured, or now contain duplicates. Go to Study Configuration > ETL Settings or Data Central > Configuration > Reviewer Roles. Then, run the ETL Key Checker to confirm that every reviewable domain has a valid key definition and no duplicate key values. Correct any key issues and reimport the affected data. If the key configuration appears correct yet the problem persists, escalate to a technical services team member.
  • If access to the elluminate website logs is available, the logs will contain a copy of the SQL query that was executed, which can be copied and run in SSMS. The logs will also display the associated error. A frequent cause of this problem is that the subject field cannot be found. If the subject field is not available in the exposed domain, the subject field used at the study level can be overridden with an alternate field.
