Mark One or More Records as Reviewed in Data Central

This article is currently being updated. Please come back later for updates.

Important: Any user assigned a specific role will mark a record as reviewed on behalf of that role and a role can only mark a record as reviewed once. Meaning, three users with the role of Medical Monitor cannot each individually mark a record as reviewed.

Instructions

  1. From a Data Central study, begin your review session. Could be by opening a listing under the Data section, accessed from the Data Review Plan, the Data Review Summary, eIQ Review, etc.
Tip: If opening a listing directly from under the Data Section, hover over the domain and click the Open Listing & Details View icon.
  2. By default, the listing is filtered to your reviewer role (e.g. MM), so it only shows records that are new or have been updated since the record was last reviewed. Adjust filters as needed.
  3. Mark a single record as reviewed:
    1. Click the Review button in the Details view toolbar.

Tip: Click the arrows in the Details view to quickly move to the next record.

  4. Mark multiple records as reviewed:
    1. Select the checkboxes for the row of any records you want to mark as reviewed in the Listing panel.
    2. Click the Review button from the Listing panel toolbar.
  5. Mark all records in a listing as reviewed:
    1. Click the Review the Operations down-arrow at the right of the Review button in the Listing panel.
    2. Select Mark xx rows as reviewed.

Tip: This operation works for filtered listings, so filter the listing to a subset of records and mark all of those records as reviewed at once using this method.

  6. Mark one or more records as unreviewed:
    1. Select the checkboxes for the rows of any records you want to mark as unreviewed in the Listing panel.
    2. Click the Review the Operations down-arrow at the right of the Review button in the Listing panel.
    3. Select Mark unreviewed.
  7. Mark all records in a listing as unreviewed:
    1. Click the Review the Operations down-arrow at the right of the Review button in the Listing panel.
    2. Select Mark xx rows as unreviewed.

Important: Keep in mind this will mark any records listed as unreviewed, even if they were marked reviewed during a different review session.
