In an Analytics sheet, bookmarks save filters, variable selections, and layout settings for quick access to frequently used data views. Bookmarks can be kept private or published for other users.

Access Bookmarks
- Click Bookmarks to open the Bookmarks panel. Select a bookmark category:
- Public: Displays all public bookmarks.
- Community: Displays bookmarks published by other users.
- Published by me: Displays bookmarks published by the current user.
- My own: Displays private bookmarks created by the current user.
- Select a bookmark to open it. Bookmarks open based on the options saved:
- When Save sheet location is selected, the sheet opens with the saved filters applied.
- When Save sheet location is not selected, the current sheet remains open, and the saved filters are applied.
- When Save layout is selected, the sheet opens with the saved chart layout and presentation.
- When Save variable state in bookmarks is selected, the sheet opens with the variable values saved at the time of bookmark creation.
Note: When only two bookmark categories are available, the categories display as tabs. When more than two categories are available, the Categories drop-down list displays.
Create a Bookmark
- Apply filters, select variable buttons, choose values from drop-down menus, and enter input values as needed.
- Click Bookmarks to open the Bookmarks panel.
Click My own to view existing bookmarks.
Click Create new bookmark.
In the Create bookmark window, complete the following fields and options:
- Title: Automatically displays as Bookmark (#), with the number increasing as bookmarks are added. Edit the title as needed.
- Description: Enter a description, if needed.
- Save sheet location: Selected by default. The bookmark opens the saved sheet and applies the associated filters.
- Save layout: Select to preserve the current layout, including customized sorting or chart formatting.
- Save variable state in bookmarks: Select to save variable button selections, drop-down values, and input box entries.
Click Create. The bookmark displays in the My own section.
- Click the More (...) icon next to the saved bookmark to open the options menu.
Click Details to open the Bookmark details window.
Note: The Bookmark details window displays the settings captured in the bookmark, including saved selections, variable values, layout settings, and set expressions.
Publish a Bookmark
Publish a bookmark to make it available to other users.
- Click Bookmarks to open the Bookmarks panel.
- Click My own.
- Click the More (...) icon next to the bookmark to publish.
- Click Publish. The bookmark moves from My own to Published by me and becomes available in Community for other users.
Note: Published bookmarks display in the Published by me section for the creator and in the Community section for other users. To delete a published bookmark, unpublish it first.
Unpublish a Bookmark
- Click Bookmarks to open the Bookmarks panel.
- Click Published by me.
- Click the More (...) icon next to the bookmark.
- Click Unpublish. The bookmark moves to the My own section.
Edit a Bookmark
Edit a bookmark to update its Title or Description.
- Click Bookmarks to open the Bookmarks panel.
- Click the More (...) icon next to the bookmark to edit.
- Click Details to open the Bookmark details window.
- Click Edit details.
- Edit the Title, Description, or both fields.
- Click Done.
Click Update bookmark.
In the confirmation window, click Confirm.
- Click X to close the Bookmark details window and return to the Bookmarks panel and Analytics sheet.
Delete a Bookmark
Only bookmarks in the My own section can be deleted. To delete a published bookmark, unpublish it first.
- Click Bookmarks to open the Bookmarks panel.
- Click My own.
- Delete the bookmark using one of the following methods:
- Click the More (...) icon next to the bookmark and click Delete.
- Open the Bookmark details window and click Delete.
- Click the More (...) icon next to the bookmark and click Delete.
- In the Confirmation window, click Delete to delete the bookmark, or click Close to keep the bookmark.
