Navigate the Platform

Platform Menu

Master Header

The master header, displayed in blue at the top of the screen, remains consistent across the platform. Available options adjust based on the current location within the system. The Studies home page displays upon initial login. The 9-dot icon in the upper-left corner provides access to the Platform Menu.

From the Studies home page, use master header options to access studies or perform actions. Alternatively, use the 9-dot icon to open the Platform Menu for navigation.

The 9-dot icon

Open the Platform Menu: Click the 9-dot icon to open the Platform Menu. The menu opens.

Note: Available categories, modules, and functionality depend on assigned system privileges..

At the top of the menu, access is available to the My Profile, Studies home page, Global Data Stores home page, and sign-off option.

Expand the left navigation: In the left navigation, Recent History and expandable categories display. Click the arrow next to a category to expand or collapse it.

Platform Menu Expanded

Items with a right-pointing arrow indicate additional selections in the right navigation. For example, under Recent History, Recent Studies and History display, with previously accessed locations listed in the right navigation. Selecting an item navigates to that system location.

For Data Central Configuration, History entries display as Data Central Configuration > [Study Name] > [Tab] and link directly to the last tab viewed.

Tip: The History section in the Platform Menu provides direct access to recently viewed Data Central Configuration tabs. Selecting a History item returns to the exact tab last accessed, such as Review Plan or Data Review, reducing the need to re-navigate through configuration menus.
Access Data Central Configuration from History in the Platform Menu

Items without a right-pointing arrow open the corresponding module directly. For example, selecting Data Central Studies opens the Data Central Landing Page, and selecting Issues opens the global Issues module.

Use the scrollbar to view all listed items.

The Platform Menu closes when a system location is selected.

The eClinical Solutions logomark

Click the eClinical Solutions logomark next to the 9-dot icon to return to the Studies home page, or your configured Home Page.
