View and Compare Finalized Study Assessment Versions in the RACT

Permissions: Users with RACT Assessment Read Only or RACT Assessment Read Write privileges can view and compare finalized assessment versions.

After an assessment version is finalized, it becomes read-only and can be compared to other finalized versions to review changes. On the Assessments page, highlight the two versions to be compared in the Assessment Versions listing. The Compare button becomes enabled.

Comparison includes all configured assessment fields, such as Risk Evaluation, Risk Control, Contingency Actions, and assessment-level documentation.

Compare Finalized Versions

  1. Select two versions from the listing. Click each row to highlight it.
  2. Click the Compare button in the toolbar.

Tip: At the bottom of the left navigation, there are links to Risk Management and RBQM. This allows users to navigate seamlessly between Risk Management, RACT, and RBQM.

  1. The Comparison window displays both versions side by side, highlighting differences across risks, scoring, control actions, and associated fields. Changes reflect updates made throughout the assessment lifecycle, including workflow progression, documentation updates, and risk modifications.

  2. Use the icons and toggle buttons to:
    • Previous / Next: Navigate between changes. The current change is underlined in orange.
    • Highlight Changes: Toggle highlighting on or off. Highlighting is enabled by default.
    • Differences Only: Display only rows with changes.
    • Report: Open the Version Comparison Report to export and review differences.
  3. Change the versions being compared: Click the drop-down next to the name of each version and select a different version.
  4. Continue comparing versions as needed.
  5. Select the Back arrow at the top left to return to the Assessments page.

Note: Finalized assessment versions are read-only and cannot be edited.
