Customize Listing Row and Column Display in Data Central

Important: This tutorial only manages your personal listing settings in Data Central, not the settings of other Data Central users.

Instructions

Adjust Row Display Setting for all Listings

  1. To select the number of rows that display for all Data Central listings, click the Data Central Settings icon from the master header.
  2. Select the number of visible rows from the drop-down. 20 rows is the default setting.
  3. The setting automatically saves and applies to all studies and listings in Data Central.

Adjust Column Display Settings for Specific Listings

  1. Open the desired Data Central listing panel, the video covers steps for the AE data listing.
  2. To fix a column to the left or the right of a listing:
    1.  Right-click the column header for the column.
    2. Select To the left or To the right.
  3. To unfix a column:
    1. Right-click the column header again.
    2. Select Unfix.
  4. To adjust the width of a column:
    1. Click and drag the right border of the column header to the desired width.
  5. To reorder columns:
    1. Click the column header and drag the entire column to the desired position.
  6. To hide columns within a listing:
    1. Click the Settings icon within the listing panel toolbar.
    2. Within the User Domain Settings tab, all the available system field and variable columns are listed
    3. Check the box next to any field or variable columns you want to hide.
    4. To display a hidden variable, uncheck the box next to the column.

      Tip: To filter the list to only display your hidden variables, click the eyeball icon. To return your listings to the default setting for column visibility, click the circle arrow icon.

    5. Click Save.
  7. To restore columns to their default visibility, width, and order:
    1. Click the Settings icon within the listing panel toolbar.
    2. Within the User Domain Settings tab, all the available system field and variable columns are listed
    3. Click the Restore icon.
    4. Click Save.
