Permissions: The RACT Assessment Read Only or RACT Assessment Read Write privilege is required to view and compare finalized assessment versions.

After an assessment version is finalized, it becomes read-only and can be compared to other finalized versions to review changes. In the All view under Assessments, select two finalized versions in the Assessment Versions listing. Compare becomes enabled.

Comparison includes all configured assessment fields, such as Risk Evaluation, Risk Control, Contingency Actions, and assessment-level documentation.

Compare Finalized Versions

1. Click two finalized assessment version rows to select them.
2. Click Compare.
   
3. The Version Comparison page displays both versions side by side and highlights differences in Risks, scoring, control actions, and associated fields. Changes reflect updates made throughout the assessment lifecycle, including workflow progression, documentation updates, and Risk modifications.
   
4. Use the following controls to review the comparison:
   • Previous Change icon: Navigates to the previous change.
   • Next Change icon: Navigates to the next change.
   • Highlight Changes: Toggles highlighting on or off. Highlighting is enabled by default.
   • Differences Only: Displays only rows with changes.
   • Report: Opens the Version Comparison Report to export and review differences.
5. To compare a different version, click the drop-down next to a version name and select another finalized assessment version.
6. Click the Back arrow to return to the Assessment Versions listing in the All view.
